Girl gossip,

After explaining Gossip girl and it's alluring charm to an assortment of "adults" lately I think it's time for a written justification of it's value in modern society(the fashion world...).

Gossip girl is an utter fashion reference point with every(desirable...) style given it's own representative. When clothing first became mass produced it was copied from screen styles worn by the legendary actresses of the day, magazines and their 'raison d'ĂȘtre'- photography play a big part in the world of fashion these days. If you mix these two previous points together you can understand Nick Knight's 'raison d'ĂȘtre'. Nick Knight- is a photographer focused on taking fashion forward, into the future. He is doing this with his Showstudio-http://www.showstudio.com/.

In my opinion Gossip girl's place on television is more concerned with style than acting and therefore acts as a moving canvas for all the folllowing styles. Making it an example of Nick's fashion forward thinking, albeit a very simple stage.

Now for the styles:

Take that boho chic Mischa Barton(used to...) pull of so well in real life; Vanessa Abrams has worn every possible statement item boho chic has ever claimed-

Blair Waldorf is everything boho isn't, she's classic, conservative and tailored. Wearing pencil skirts, fitted jackets and bows for adornment. Blair's signature is an ornamental hairband-

Serena Van der Woodsen is the build of the original "supermodels" with legs that go on forever and these are highlighted in her wardrobe of sexy, short dresses and party girl style. Serena's long blonde waves are a style statement on their own-

Lastly is little J. Jenny Humphrey the youngest of the girls who opts for a glam punk, dark look that is cleverly contradicted by her peroxide locks-

The bible is used by preachers who know it inside out to help tell moral stories to help guide people in their day to day lives.

Gossip girl should be viewed in this same way. Helping to show fashion enthusiasts the how-to guides of pulling of each style in day to day life.

Tomorrow, here come the boys...
